The June Conundrum Chronicles StorySlam was a huge success! This was our first ever BIPOC event where the stage was held for people of color. The Marsh Theater was packed, the stories were riveting, and the environment was safe and welcoming. A big thanks to Lin Patterson (featured storyteller), Tanna Samone (our winning storyteller), Christian Freeman, Tamir Nuble, Yvonne Martinez (producer), Thomas Laymon (host), Shayla Berr, Angeli Fitch, Eddy Chang, and Abdul Kenyatta (featured storyteller). These storytellers all shared provocative stories based on the theme: “A Way Out of No Way.”
